Overview
IBM needed engaging animation content for social media — content that could communicate complex ideas quickly, hold attention in a scrolling feed, and maintain IBM's premium brand standards. I was brought in to lend my animation skills to create fun, engaging motion content.
The Challenge
IBM's social media content needed to stand out in crowded feeds. Static imagery wasn't cutting through. The team needed animated content that could communicate ideas quickly, reinforce the IBM brand, and drive engagement without sacrificing quality.
Approach
I created a series of motion graphics and animated content pieces for IBM's social channels — ranging from short-form explainer animations to branded vignettes. Each piece was designed to be visually compelling in the first 2 seconds and communicate its core message within 15–30 seconds.
Outcomes
The animated content delivered measurably higher engagement than static alternatives across IBM's social channels. The work demonstrated how motion design could elevate corporate social content from functional to genuinely engaging.
